Simple Yoga Flow for All Levels

Yoga, yoke or union was derived from the Sanskrit word “yuji”, it’s an ancient practice that combines physical postures or muscle movement, breathing techniques together with your mind.

Practicing yoga has been proven to deliver many benefits for both mental and physical health

Yoga has many different forms; it’s more than a hundred. Some are fast-paced and intense. Others are gentle and relaxing. But you don’t have to worry which form you would choose since your yoga teachers will help you which one suits you best, and if you just get started, certain beginner poses are available for you that could definitely help you achieve the self awareness you have been eyeing to get. But if you are already on the intermediate level, you just have to inform your practitioner to level up. Hence, the intensity of your yoga exercise depends on which form of yoga you choose. Techniques like hatha and iyengar yoga are gentle and slow. Bikram and power yoga are faster and more challenging.

Let us know first what are the areas that yoga targets.

•         Yoga targets every core muscle. Those stubborn love handles can surely be tightened. You can burn those by doing the boat pose; it’s balancing the sit bones, and holding up your legs in the air.

•         Of course, arms is also included, though with yoga machines and any arm strength weights are not being used but arms are still being worked out by the weight of your own body such as the plank, extend your weight evenly between your arms and legs and the crane and crow poses, this test your arms even more by making them sustain your full body weight.

•         Legs are obviously part of yoga exercises, all sides of the legs including your quadriceps, hips, and thighs are being used.

•         Back is also part of yoga workouts. The movement form like downward-facing dog, child’s pose, and cat/cow give your back muscles a good stretch. No wonder that they say yoga relieves a sore back.
