How to Meditate for Beginners | Swami Ramdev

Meditation for Beginners

Meditation is easy to learn with, what hard about it is when you want to master such meditation for it requires a lifetime practice. Even those who are practicing it for more than a decade and spend hours meditating each day admit that sometimes their mind wanders instead of being focused all the time, and that is definitely okay.

Everyone has that common mind character that tends to drift from subject to subject, that can be distracted easily. This is very common to us- a human being.

Meditation practice will not end this character but rather it will help us slow down and will help us know how to control it so that we can live in the present, instead of thinking about the past and over thinking about the future.

As we all know people practice meditation in order to cope up with stress, but the truth is, there are so many benefits we can get from practicing it. Keep in mind, you practice meditation, you will never be perfect at it, so don’t get depressed when your mind makes those usual leaps.

Below are the things you need when you start meditating:

·         Look for a place that’s fairly quiet where you’ll be undisturbed, it can be anywhere as long as you are comfortable with it.

·         It would be nice to close your eyes when meditating in order to stay focus on a particular thing

·         Make sure to settle yourself in a comfortable way

·         Notice your breathing, practice on how you can observe your way of breathing
